On Saturday 31st Jan 2015 we went to the State Bank Museum of Pakistan, situated in Karachi. As we reached and entered the museum, there is a big distance from main gate to the museum. Inside, the museum is divided into two parts one is the “SADIQAIN” art gallery, which is on 2nd floor of the museum and the second one is museum and coin gallery which is on ground floor. Our teacher and guide split us all students into two groups one went to upstairs and the others stayed on ground floor. I and my friends were in first group. An old man took all of us to “SADIQAIN” art gallery. Old man was our guide at that time I didn’t remember his name. He showed us an art “paintings” which a mural was made by Sadequain. The paintings of Sadequain are wonderful every painting of Sadequain contains his own and different massages in it. The old man also showed us the art “painting” which was made by the employers of the State Bank Museum of Pakistan placed over there for exhibition and for sale too. He told us that every painting is having its own different price.

After seeing all stuff of Sadequain art gallery we moved downwards for museum and coin gallery. When we were moving towards the coin gallery we mat the other guide his name is Mr. Aslam.

He said to us to follow me. He showed us the first governor of state bank of Pakistan furniture his picture and gave us a lot of information about him and also told us about all former governors of state bank museum. Then he took us to the coin gallery on the way of art gallery we saw many other things like first currency of the world, currency making machine, old coin machine, and the new one, he also told us about 2000 B.C. When there was no money, no currency in the world. How the people used to deal in 2000 B.C. exchange of goods with each other. When we entered to the coin gallery we saw many different coins of many other countries and Pakistan as well.

We saw gold coins, punched coins and many others. The guide Mr. Aslam was very kind and nice person. He answered all of our questions. He told us everything in detail.

We got a lot of information from The State of Pakistan museum. You will also say that it is one of an informative place when you visit there. People must go there to collect information of history which we are belonging from. They should know as to how we deal with goods in barter system.
